A Soft Place to Land: Why I’m Writing to You, Mama

Dear Mama,

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

Whether you arrived by curiosity, by invitation, or by a late-night scroll during a moment of overwhelm, please know this space was created with you in mind.

I’m Suzanne—a mother whose children are now grown, a writer rediscovering her voice, and a woman who remembers what it felt like to be in the thick of it: the tired days, the tender days, the days that felt like too much and somehow still not enough.

I started this blog as an extension of my heart. My book, Dear Mama, You’re Doing Enough, was the first piece of that offering—a collection of letters, really, to the younger version of myself and to all the women out there mothering through the chaos and the beauty.

Here, I want to offer something simple: a soft place to land. No pressure, no perfection, no endless advice. Just gentle reminders that:

  • You are not alone.
  • You are not failing.
  • Your love is enough.

In the coming weeks, I’ll share reflections on motherhood, aging with intention, and what it means to live a good life—one rooted in authenticity, grace, and joy. Some posts may be short and sweet, others more thoughtful and raw. But all will be grounded in one truth: you are already enough.

So pour your coffee, take a breath, and stay awhile. I’d love to walk with you.

With all my heart,
Suzanne
